San Jose bicyclist is found shot dead
SAN JOSE: A 45-year-old bicyclist was shot and killed Tuesday as he pedaled along South Second Street, just south of Virginia Street, police said. Police found Russell John Cline, a salesman from San Jose, lying on the street and entangled in a bicycle at about 12:30 a.m. Police initially believed Cline had been in an accident and he was transported to a local hospital There, he was pronounced dead on arrival and the medical staff found a bullet wound

Russ was a friend of mine. He lived just down the street from my boyfriend Lon Moseley who also was his good friend. Russ doubled dated to the prom with Lon and me. I'm not sure of the date of his death but he was murdered in San Jose. I do not think they ever found his killer. So sad. He was a wonderful person, husband and father.
