Here is the obituary for Duane Faul's wife Dorothy, which appeared in the San Jose Mercury-News in 2015:

Dorothy Jean Faul
September 21, 1926- May 18, 2015

Dorothy Jean Faul passed away on Monday evening after several years of declining health.  Dorothy was known for being a dedicated elementary teacher, a loyal P>E>O. Sister, and a loving wife and parent to her family.  Dorothy was born and raised in Marcus, Iowa, and received her teaching degree at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA.  She received her California teaching certificate in 1964 shortly after moving to San Jose.  

In June 1947, she married Duane Fremont Faul, to whom she was married for almost 50 years until his death in May 1997.  Dorothy taught elementary school until her retirement in 1986, and continued for another 20 years as a substitute teacher.  

Dorothy is survived by her sons:  David Faul of Brooklyn, NY, Donald Faul of Livermore, Dean Faul of San Jose, and grandchildren, Clayton and Brittan Faul of San Jose, and Eleanor Faul of Knoxville, TN.  Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Campbell United Methodist Church, 1675 S. Winchester Blvd. in Campbell.  The family asks that any gifts be made to P.E.O. Chapter PC, which provides scholarships to higher education for women.
