Kevin L. Fogarty CANANDAIGUA - Kevin L. Fogarty, age 56, passed away peacefully at Light Hill, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, while surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his son, Kory Fogarty; mother, Dottie Fogarty; three brothers, Jim (Laura) Fogarty, Tim Fogarty and Mike (Becky) Fogarty; six nieces; seven nephews; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Jim Fogarty, Sr., in 1986. Kevin was born and raised in Canandaigua and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1979. He worked in the wholesale used car business for over 30 years and was a lifelong car enthusiast. Kevin enjoyed motocross, boating on Canandaigua Lake and supporting Red Jacket High School football. He will be remembered as a loving father. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Light Hill (comfort care home), 5160 Parrish St., Ext., Canandaigua, NY 14424; or Red Jacket Football Booster Club, c/o Bob Good, 3933 Taylor Road, Shortsville, NY 14548.
