Hi Everybody!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm the Innkeeper at the 1837 Cobblestone Cottage on West Lake Road and have 3 rooms available at the moment for the reunion weekend. Not only are we having our reunion that weekend, but The Riesling Festival will also be happening.

Should you want to check our website out - http://www.1837cobblestonecottage.com
and we're on Facebook -- 1837 Cobblestone Cottage Bed and Breakfast.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

See you in August!
Dawn

Hey Dawn!   What a fabulous place the Cobblestone Cottage is - I wish I was an out of towner, I'd stay there!

You should have no problem booking the rooms for that weekend.  I would encourage anyone coming to town for the reunion to contemplate staying there - I know they wouldn't be disappointed!

See you soon!

Patty

Classmates of '72,cool

I have been corresponding with several of you through this Reunion Website. Just about every evening I spend about fifteen or twenty minutes to drop a line to classmates I knew, still know, or would like to know... .One can never be too friendly, right!?

Terry (Blair) has put so much into this planning, I'm hoping she is pleased to see some action in the forums. So, truth be known, I started out trying to make her feel good,  But the fact is, I have really enjoyed the little chats we've had.  You will enjoy it too!

So, please be encouraged to connect and chat. mail Catch up a bit before August - we won't be able to cover 'small talk' and the past forty years over the coarse of an evening of dinner and dancing.

I have to admit - the more I chat, the more excited I get for August to arrive!  It is going to be SOOOOO fun!  And I am truly looking forward to seeing ALL of you and your guests.

Patty

:-)  SEEING YOU SOON  yes

Terry,

Are you going to need a banner for"Welcome Class of 1972" or a little momentum for the reunion.

Last year, Neil's class had little glasses with candy in it for each of the people who attended.

Is there anything like that I can help with

Margaret

Hey All,

Is anyone in Canadaigua familiar with the Finger Lakes Inn? I have reservations there and want to make sure it's not a less than wonderful place. :)  Looks like there's alot going on that same weekend and room pickins are slim!

Looking forward to some days at home and seeing "old" friends.

Thanks for any info or alternatives.

Hi Margaret,

We don't know if we'll have extra funds for that just yet. What kind of time frame would you need should we do something such as a banner or giveaway? Also, I know there is a new CA logo but could we do something more like the one we all relate too?

Thanks, Terry

Hi Kelly,

I think it was one of the first apartment complexes for the college now a motel. Mo McKenna works there. Perhaps if you had her call you you could get the skinny on what she thinks candidly.  Debbie and John Watkins are staying at what was the old Samuels place in the country. Price is about double though. You can always sleep in my truck!

Kelly,

John and I are staying at the Morgan Samuels Country Inn. Phone number is 585-394-9232 or 585 -721-6656 not sure if they have any rooms.  My sister recommended it to me, she saw an article about it  being a AAA Four Diamond  Recipient.

Since the Reisling Festival is conveniently scheduled for the same day as our reunion, and since Jim's band, Prime Time Funk, is playing from 1  -  4 that day, I'm hoping lots of classmates will come for  music and a pre-reunion reunion! Hope to see you there...Judy

Along with Judy's invite to have a great band experience (exceptional !!! - really)  there is also the calling of the Lake, especially for people out of town.  My goodness gracious - if you are taking the time to come to Cdga for a reunion - please treat yourself and your family to the lake.  Now how do you do that?  No matter where you are lodging - you call the German Brothers Marina on West Lake Road at 585.394.4000.

Website: http://www.germanbrothers.com/gb/page.php

They rent boats and it is worth it, especially from our very fine classmate Pete German.

I am not advertising - I'm just saying from experience.  Be on the Lake, be on a boat, and be thankful we have such a good family as Pete and Rick German who are the best professional providers of water craft and maintenance, sales and leasing that I have ever experienced in my "young" life !

Hope to see everyone in and on the water,  And also at Judy's invite - because her husband Jim's band - is really, really, really good.

Best to everyone, come on now - we can do this reunion - part of life - enjoy it on the Lake - because - it is possible - and very rewarding, you'll see.  How many boats do we need?  Lots of classmates.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Order your boat rentals now.

I'm smiling with you,

Leslie

Kelly,

We stayed at the Finger Lakes inn on one of our visits back home a couple years ago.  They were clean rooms and the hotel is comparaqble to a Super 8 or Econo lodge.  When we were there they had a nice rec center and the pool is awesome.

Did you use our group rate???

Dave
