Thanks for the Memories

Well,  It is after 1 am.  The party is over and what a party it was! Some of you are probably still going strong. Some are dreaming about the hills that await them on the long ride around the lake in the morning...

Our "two Terry's and a Dave"  did a fabulous job in organizing and orchestrating this four day affair.....  Many thanks to all of YOU who took time out of your busy schedules to help with the details. But most of all, Thanks to YOU who cared enough to come back to CA - to reconnect and make new friends. It would have been nothing without YOU!

I witnessed many people exchanging thanks,  love, condolences, forgiveness, and confessions. And friends reuniting, reconnecting, sharing, comparing, understanding, joking, laughing, crying, and hugging.  I heard promises to stay in touch, to stay connected and stay in tune. In short, everyone had a great time.

My wish for you is that your promises come true. May you all have safe travels home and until we meet again - remember, life's too short, let's keep those promises!  God Bless   :-)

Patty

Wow! Not bad for 1AM. Not bad at all! I echo your sentiments. And I appreciate all the work you did as our body in Canandaigua and website cheerleader!   So much fun! I missed the Sand Bar tonight. I just couldn't do it! Not after the ride around the lake. Although after a shower I wished I was closer to go back!! I had so much fun getting to know many people just a little more or a lot more than I had before. We have the best class ever!  Everyone seemed to be moving from one group to another. Just a great weekend to reconnect.

Vickie's dinner on Thursday was great for a starter. For me it was going down memory lane as I used to love to visit there back in 8th grade and forward! A great place to visit with teachers.  Friday's boat ride was fun. We pretty much had the boat to ourselves. People were pointing out where they used to hang out during those school years. Friday night at Steamboat Landing more fun! More folks showing up, more chances to reconnect. Saturday night - wow, all but three who signed up came. Such a beautiful location and how did you like those fireworks we arranged - smiley. Several of us took a leisurely but challenging bicycle ride around the lake on Sunday. After getting home at 1Am and up at 6AM it was tough, but I would not have missed that for anything. Another opportunity to get to know some fellow classmates a bit better. I hope to hear about the Sand Bar, probably still going strong now as I contemplate how great that bed looks!

Stay tuned for more info on how to get copies of the profile book and reunion pictures.
