"Scott, we hardly knew ye....what an honor to learn to be so in the moment, so loving life as you did...will always remember your theater skills, Charlie Brown, and the East Berlin check point guard giving you back your passport and mispronouncing your name as we all laughed and then terrified we were going to be shot for doing so!!!!
Thanks for inspriring me to open up, relax and just be...and to love others....

Friendship
"...Friendship is one of the greatest gifts a human being can receive. It is a bond beyond common goals, common interests, or common histories. It is a bond stronger than sexual union can create, deeper than a shared fate can solidify, and it can be even more intimate than the bonds of marriage or community.
Friendship is being with the other in joy and sorrow, even when we cannot increase the joy or decrease the sorrow.
It is a unity of souls that gives nobility and sincerity to love. Friendship makes all of life shine brightly.
Blessed are those who lay down their lives for their friends..."

Such true and meaningful words, Tom.
Beautiful.

I remeber that Scott always seemed to have a smile and an upbeat greeting.
I remember feeling comfortable and not judged around Scott.
He has been missed dearly, I'm sure.

Scott was one of a kind, one of the best kind
