Lisa died six years ago today, June 30th.  She was riding her motorcycle to visit friends with her husband of just over a year, Robert Lindsay.  She had owned a Sportster previously, a gift from a boyfriend, and had determined that she would rather ride....but for some reason Bob had talked her into trying again.  She took a curve too wide, and rode right into a car full of teenagers.  She left behind a daughter, Tiffany Lynne Panagiotatos, whom I know she would be very very proud of.  Tiff lives in Maryland right now, and is doing very well.

I remember Lisa in school, but more memories are of her later in life.  We both lived in Middlesex Ny, both single mothers (but not really....we did have significant others, just not the fathers.....therefor we seemed to actually be mother and father to our kids, and then girlfriends to our boyfriends.  It's a wierd relationship, and hard to describe.....)

Anyway, Lisa was a strict but fair mother, very involved in her daughter Tiff's life.  She did a great job, and would be proud of the daughter that she raised.

She was the technical lead at Ultrafab for years, and had a talent beyond measure when it came to troubleshooting our frustrating machines.  She was one of a few women in "leadership", and she took that honor to heart.

She also was a good friend ready to listen when needed, ready to drive to anywhere and get a stranded friend, and ready to open her doors when a friend in need was standing there with no where else to go.

I was honored to know her and call her my friend.
