During my senior year I became friends with Trina; we were in a lot of classes together. She talked about Steve Day and how she looked forward to their wedding. Trina's face would "light up" when she mentioned Steve. I truly believe that she loved Steve with all her heart!
I remember after commencement, Trina, Anna Talbot and Paula Ramsey came over - we took tons of pictures at my house. We all had so much to look forward to after graduation.
I think that it was in January when Trina's sister called me to tell me that Trina passed away (car accident) - I don't know how her sister so bravely made that phone call because I was crushed.
I continue to remember Trina as a bright star, always shining...
