Jack and I would terrorize Market St of Boardman and Youngstown each Friday and Saturday night. His 1966 Chevy Impala SS with a 427, 450+ hp 4 speed, with 456 rear end gears, was known quite well as the "Street Cleaner", It was nightly street racing from red light to red light. We carried a set of "cheater drag slicks" in the trunk when big money was on the line. Then on Sundays we were off to the Drag Strips, at Sunset and Meander. No one could shut down that Big Chevy with that "427", Jack was a good guy, I have a Photo of him and I with that "427" in my livingroom, and it always brings a smile to my face. When he passed I made sure that a copy of us with the Chevy went with him. Oh for those Summer nights again. Thanks Jack your in my Heart and Thoughts. Dale
