Graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, with BA in English and Mass Communications in 2004. Received MA in Communication from the University of Colorado in Denver in 2008. Have worked in Public Affairs since the spring of 2005; and was a wildland firefighter with the Bureau of Land Management for 3 years. Wrote and published several freelance magazine articles. Todd and I got married in June 2008. We're on the East Coast now because Todd is a Civil Engineer in the U.S. Coast Guard. We miss the Rockies, but are enjoying the beach.
