"Steve" Poyser
Stephen F. "Steve" Poyser, age 45, of Canton, passed away Thursday evening at Cleveland Clinic following a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was born in Canton, OH on August 6, 1962, the son of Keith W., Sr. and Sonia M. (Oleno) Poyser. Steve was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School; Steve's passion was sports, he loved softball and played on several local ball teams. Stephen's sister, Tessie Poyser and his grandparents preceded him in death. Family members include his parents, Keith, Sr., and Sonia of Canton; a son and daughter, Steven Poyser (age 18), Desarae (age 8), both of Carrollton, OH; five brothers, Keith, Jr. (Julie), William, Bryan, Robert (Shelley), David (Chrissy); two sisters, Elizabeth Anderson and Malinda (Mike) Marlatt; two aunts and an uncle; 17 nieces and nephews; and a great-
nephew. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Chaplain Paul Rudy officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday from 12-1 p.m. in the funeral home. Cruise-in car show benefit for Steve will be held at Papa Bear's Restaurant, 4990 Dressler Rd., Canton, OH, on Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. Rain date will be scheduled on the following Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stephen F.
