I was at the Academy only about a year and a half as I left in February, 1969. I have attempted to reach a number of former students since with with limited success. Since AA I have taught school for an additional 3 three year in Chicago, worked for Bausch & Lomb in selling soft contact lenses for 12 years, been a stockbroker for three years, sold computer systems to colleges for three years, pushed paper for the government for nine years, and finally spent a year with the phone company until my retirement in 2000. Since then, we have built a retirement home in Pine, CO, sold it, remodeled a townhouse in Boulder, CO and sold it, only to remodel the house in which I was born and retire in it about three years ago which is where we now live in Randolph, MN, my home town.
