RE: reunion plans Posted Saturday, October 2, 2010 10:59 AM Hey guys! So Cyndi and I were talking the other night about plans for Saturday. I have gotten ahold of two different restaurants that would love to have all of us for dinner and drinks. The Riveria cantina Patio and El Pisto-a restaurant that my friend owns. The Riveria said we could come and just order off the menu. At El Pisto-my friend said he could make a food budget (including his specialty tacos, appetizers, and anything else we would like to have) As well as drink specials that night. And then we could all go out to The Toad as Jenny mentioned if anyone wants to. I do need to let either restaurant know by at least Monday so we can have reservations. Please email me at Brandis2658@yahoo.com or text me at 920-4777 if anyone seems interested. See you all soon!!! ~Brandie
PS. Stella, I would like a shirt also!! :) |

RE: reunion plans Posted Saturday, October 2, 2010 11:14 AM Okay..so I spoke w/Mr Hurd. Everything is set for the softball field, he says I just have to let him know when we are there so he can have the custodians open the back parking lot for us. He also said he will section off the top right part of the stadium for us to sit @. He mentioned that the class of 1990 will be there also, he said they said about 60 so we gotta try to be louder than them.... Hey Stella thanks for the t-shirt research, I like the t-shirt idea @least its not our 20 year reunion, since 1990 will be there :) Jesus can you bring a couple of tables and chairs...maybe like 3 or 4 so we have a total of 5-6. Chairs would be nice too since people might show up w/o any, maybe like 20? Hey do you think you could get 10-15 (school color) balloons filled for us? I can take balloons to you if you need me (so you don't have to haul the helium tank around). I was thinking of just tying the balloons to the railing around the section we will be sitting @along w/some banners i'm gonna try to make. I dunno what we are goonna do w/the stuff prior to the game thought, I was just planning on putting it back in the truck hoping its there after the game....but maybe we can come up with a better plan while we are there, if the parking lot for the softball field is closed off we might be able to keep it there till after the game. a jumping balloon could be fun for the kids...there should be somewhere we could plug it in....if not we can just bring some balls and stuff and let the kids run around. If anyone has a pop-up shade please bring it w/you, we might be in the sun till it goes down! If anyone has an ipod and a dock can you bring that too for some music (juan ran mine through the washer and it doesn't work!) Brandi thanks for the restaurant research too...Brandi and I were discussing the best option and we decided the Riviera would be best since it's closer and we can just order off the menu....She's gonna call and reserve the space for us. Anything else we are missing? I'm gonna text a couple of people and have them text stella if they want a shirt...can everyone do the same. |

RE: reunion plans Posted Sunday, October 3, 2010 09:11 PM I am about ready to finalize the shirt order first thing tomorrow morning. I have received a lot of feedback on what to have printed on the back of the shirts. Many like, "Class of 2000 Reunion...at least it's not our 20th!" Especially since that class of 1990 will be there too. What's even more funny about it, is that the class of 1990 is my sister-in-law's class! Another good one was mentioned..."After 10 years, I still bleed orange!" Let me know what we like best. Thanks 'yall! |
