On July 27, 2012, Sheryl Jean (Adams) Somers, born October 26, 1956, joined our Father in Heaven. Sheryl was a loving wife, mother and friend. Sheryl is survived by her husband Edward Somers, son Drew Somers, mother Odessa Adams, Sister Rev. Peggy Edge, Sister Anna Harrison and brother James Adams. She was preceded in death by her father Rev. Ivan A. Adams. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on August 3, 2012 at University United Methodist Church, 5084 De Zavala Road, San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Memory of Sheryl Jean Somers be mailed to The San Antonio Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC).
