Eddie talked me into changing departments and working for the WTAMU University Police Department in 1998. Everyone called him Chief Wilson and I told him that I was going to have a hard time calling him "Chief" Wilson and not Eddie. He responded, "No big deal...call me whatever you feel comfortable with". It took only a very short time before he earned my deepest respect and Chief Wilson rolled off my tongue! He was very respected in the law enforcement field and the department. He treated everyone like family and was ready to lend a hand for anyone.

I miss him...he was a true friend!
