Sharla Rae Wright, 48, of Amarillo died Thursday, July 14, 2005.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert E. Field officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon.
Mrs. Wright was born June 27, 1957, in Amarillo to Jim and Betty Jo Wright. She graduated from Canyon High School and the University of North Texas in Denton. She was Miss Canyon in 1975 and later modeled in New York. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, was an interior designer and owned a boutique in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

I am in shock. I can't believe she is gone. Does anyone know what happened to her? I think of her now and then and this is the first time I have heard that something had happened. Heaven is a much prettier place today.
