Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 28 at the First Baptist Church in Canyon with David Riley and Hank Hough, both of Kingdom Dog Ministries, officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28 at the Old Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie. 

He was born in Canyon, TX on February 20, 1958, to Roy McCarter and Luella Irwin McCarter. Micky grew up in Canyon, TX and graduated from Canyon High School. He was married to Patsy Thomas McCarter for 36 wonderful years. Micky worked in the oilfield industry. He worked at Halliburton for 31 years and Hunting for the last 3 and a half years. During his time in the oilfield industry he lived in several different places; Pampa, TX. Gillette, Wyoming. Eagle River, Alaska. Houma, Louisiana. Corpus Christi, TX. Woodward, Oklahoma and Spring, Tx. Micky was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and had a passion for The Lord and Kingdom Dog Ministries. He lived his life for The Lord and let his light shine, where ever he went. 

Micky was preceded in death by his father, Roy McCarter, his sister, Cindy McCarter, and his son, Bradley McCarter. 

He was survived by his wife, Patsy McCarter. Son, Britt McCarter and wife Carissa McCarter, of Wheeler, TX. 2 grandchildren, Aliyah and Adalyn McCarter, of Wheeler, TX. Brother, Rick McCarter and wife Holly McCarter, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sister, Nikki Lorenc and husband Steve Lorenc, of Lewisville, TX, and his chocolate lab, Dioko.
