Marci D'Ann "Dee Dee" Lundegreen, 49, of Amarillo, died Saturday, April 12, 2008.

Sevices will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillside Christian Church with the Rev. Roy S. Wheeler and the Rev. Mike Nuthman officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Dee Dee was born and raised in Amarillo and lived here all of her life. She was a 1976 graduate of Tascosa High School and attended Amarillo College. She married Lucky Lundegreen in 1976 in Amarillo. She worked for the American Quarter Horse Association for more than 20 years. She had also worked for the Underwood Law Firm. Dee Dee loved her family and loved being a wife, mom and grandmother. She enjoyed sports and traveling. She was a member of Hillside Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rowdy Lundegreen and wife Lolly of New Braunfels and Rusty Lundegreen of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Lexy Lundegreen of New Braunfels; her parents, Joyce Howell and Oscar and Sallie Stidger, all of Amarillo; two brothers, Danny Stidger of Amarillo and Robin Stidger of Pecos, N.M.; and two sisters, Cathy Koch of Hinton, Okla., and Tonya Wadley of Amarillo.

The family requests memorials be to the Cancer Care Fund c/o Hillside Christian Church, 6100 Soncy Road Amarillo, TX 79119.

This was such a shock to see, I really loved Dee Dee. She was a fun and spirited person.
