CAREY - After a brief illness, James A. Brown, 39, died at 3:20 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 1987, in his home at 15633 TH 27, Route 2, Carey.
He was born in Tiffin on Aug. 7, 1947, to Vincent and Helen (Strasser) Brown, who are living on Route 2, Carey. On Dec. 8, 1972, he married Nancy Hiser, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Kevin, Dennis, Heather and Jonathan, all at home; and five sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Kathleen) Shane, Vanlue; Mrs. Karl (Susan) Brandeberry, Route 2, Carey; Barbara, Ashland, Ore.; Mrs. Edwin (Phyllis) Kitzler, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and Verlinda, Upper Sandusky.
Mr. Brown was a farmer and a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship, Fremont.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Stombaugh Memorail Funeral Home, Carey, the Rev. Scott Robles officiating.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 2-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Wyandot County Unit of the American Cancer Society or Dorcas Carey Public Library.

Mr. Brown best in town....what a sweetheart you were..Seriously when you laughed you chuckled! I have never seen a sweeter boy.
