Robert Clark

Robert Clark died on 25-May-2016

Born February 6, 1947 in Tiffin he was the son of William G. Clark and Mary (Hayman) Clark Caudill. His mother survives in Upper Sandusky. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, E. Marvin Caudill, and sister, Luana Farmer.

He is survived by two sisters: Billie Jean (Mike) Hirko, Gig Harbor, WA, Sharon (Bud) Miller, Upper Sandusky, two brothers: Dan (Sarah) Caudill, North Baltimore, and Keith (Cherie) Caudill, Sycamore and nine nieces and nephews: Greg (Christine) Futrell, Tom (Chessa) Winter, Heather Winter, Tim Winter, Cassie (Jace) Carlson, Robin (Matt) Conley, Carl Miller, Sara Caudill, and Ryan Caudill.

A 1965 graduate of Carey High School, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from 1966-1968. He retired from Budd Company in Carey, where he had worked for many years. He was a member of the VFW Post 3759, American Legion Post 344 and Eagles Aerie 2198 all in Carey, and was a life member of the AMVETS and Moose Lodge 872 in New Riegel.

Bob was an avid Euchre player and enjoyed being an Amateur Extra Radio Operator (N8SNF), a Skywarn spotter, and a Computer Geek Beta Tester.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 28, 2016 at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME in Carey, with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service, 9:00 - 10:00 am, at the funeral home.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Sycamore.
