Doug was a good classmate and a wonderful friend. We shared much more than the same birthday and he packed more good things into his time with us than most people experience in a lifetime. I think about you often buddy and I will always miss you. - - JackTrudy Heck (Hylant)
Oh Mr. Frederick.......Wow...I didn't know who you loved most Judy or I. Once we went to Cedar Pointe and we were waiting in line (like 4th grade) and you were holding hands with Jude. Well, you went on the ride with her and then when the ride was over you turned to her and said, "I'm breaking up with you and I am going to go with Trudy!" She was crushed and I was smitten. You always had a sh@t eatin grin on your face. Always. Everytime I looked at you you looked like you were up to no good and you were...I had your number Mr. and I loved you from the time I met you until your death. Oh, what am I talking about I love you now. So many of us grieved for you for sooooooo long. Judy was so excited to see you as she was in the last stages of her dying. You are all she talked about.
You always had others do your "dirty work!" and acted like such an "Angel" but.......Please....I knew it was you who would put Hershman "et al" up to your bidding! Your posse would be the ones who paid! Yea, you thought you were "slick!" UH huh......I got you one day and threw a snowball and it connected really, really good..right in the eye! You had a red mark on your face and couldn't believe I had the gall to smack you dead on..I kisssed you more than once during spin the bottle and loved every smootch. (peck)
When I started to bloom (boobs) you told me, "It's what's up front that counts!" and all your homies laughed hysterically...I was steamed and the madder I got the more you all laughed....OOOOOh I was so mad at you guys! I was beet red all the way home!
Here is to you Doug....and please kiss my twin for me...I know that you guys are having a blast! miss you both! love always Trude
