CAREY - Yolanda Twining, 36, Carey, died Sunday afternoon in Marion Community MedCenter Hospital, after an extended illness.  She was born May 15, 1945, in Grove City to Robert Niemann of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. William (Yvonne Adams) Fox of Carey.  On April 20, 1966, she married Gerald Twining; who survives.

Other survivors are two children, Laina and Garrick, both at home; three sisters, Yvette McDonald, Minneapolis, Minn.; Yoslada Hurley, Forest; and Karla Stansbery, Defiance; three brothers, Grant Niemann, Lancaster; Byron Fox, Amarillo, Texas; and Bradley Fox, Carey.

Mrs. Twining was a homemaker and a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Reverend Zachary Kucin officiating.  Internment will be in St. Mary Cemetary, north of Carey.

There will be no public visitation.  Sombaugh Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Oh Lonnie....You left an empty space behind with those that love(d) you...You were quite selective to those that called you a true friend because you were so private. I do remember that I spent the night at a slumber party with you at your house and girl you taught me the facts of life in a way that I had never heard it before!

Beautiful girl..woman....beautiful inside and out! You were sexy looking before I even knew what sexy looked like... More mature than any of us...You had the "IT" factor that I have never accomplished. It just came so natural for you. I had to stuff my bra back in high school just to look average!

I am so sorry that your life came to such an early end. I was sad to hear that you were ill and then died so young. You are missed! love Trudy
