Rebecca Row (Ross)

CAREY - Rebecca L. "Becky" Ross, of Upper Sandusky died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon.  She was 65

Born March 10, 1947 in Carey, she was a daughter of Pauline (Patterson) Row who survives in Upper Sandusky, and the late Arba Row Sr.  She married Eldon Hackworth and he died.  She married Donald Eingle and he died.  She married Galen D. Ross on Jan. 1, 1999 and he survives in Upper Sandusky.

Mrs. Ross also is survived by three children, Brian (Kelly) Hackworth, Carey; Larry (Angie) Hackworth, Upper Sandusky and Jeanie (Jerry Green) Eingle, Tiffin; two stepsons, James Ross and David (Kristy) Ross, both of Upper Sandusky; seven grandchildren and four siblings, Arba (Brenda) RowJr., Carey; Linda (Larry) Snook, Findlay; David(Amy) Row, Bellevue; and Samuel (Nese) Row, Bokeelia, Fla.

Mrs. Ross was a 1965 Carey High School graduate.  She retired from CSP, the former Budd Company in Carey after 28 years of employment.

To keep her busy after retiring, Mrs. Ross enjoyed crocheting and going to flea markets and flower shows.  She enmjoyed all kinds of flowers, especially roses.  Mrs. Ross also enjoyed watching NASCAR, including Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and World Wrestling Entertainment including John Cena.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey with the Rev. William Schultz officiating.  Internment will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetary near Vanlue.  Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
