Linda (Turner) Pinkerton, 54, Grand Rapids, Mich., died at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at her home after an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 24, 1947 to Merle and Vivian (Reynolds) Turner. She married John Pinkerton on Oct. 24, 1968 in Carey, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter Christie (William) Dohm; two grand-children; and a sister, Judith Collins, Carey.
She graduated as an honor student from Carey High School in 1965.
Mrs. Pinkerton worked for Marathon, Findlay, before her marriage.
She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, Mich.
Burial will be held at a later date in Melrose Park, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dorcas Carey Public Library, Carey, Ohio.

Linda - the world lost a kind heart far too soon when you left us. "Only the good die young" keeps proving itself...Thanks for being such a sweetheart in school - and tolerating my lame sense of humor with that infectious smile of yours. You lit up a lot of rooms with that smile and you're still doing it in our memories.
