Bob Wrobleski VIEW PROFILE

Bob Wrobleski

Robert WROBLEWSKI Birth Date: 18 Dec 1961 Death Date: 12 May 2007 I had known Bob since childhood, particularly Boy Scouts in Crafton's Troop 148. His dad, Harry, was a Scoutmaster and passed away at an early age also. Bob worked in the Auto Parts Industry and took care of his mom until she passed away two years before him. He developed hip problems and walked with a cane and got on SSDI for the last few years of his life. Occasionally he would stop by our house for Steeler games or for one of my wife's home cooked dinners after his mom died. He actually died in April of 2007 and his badly decomposed body was found at the bottom of the steps that led up to the split level living room where he grew up in on South Grandview. He hadn't returned any phone calls for a month and two ladies who he paid to do the grocery shopping for him called the police and Capt. Sumpter broke the door in and found him. I didn't want you guys to forget him. Good luck with your reunion. Tom Byers (Class of '79)

Bob and I went to Parkway together. I am sad to hear he passed away.

I lived just down the street from Bob on Woodlawn Ave. We had lots of great times together. Without this site I wouldn't known he had died. Peace to Bob and I can hear his laugh and his smile to this day.

Bob and I took woodshop and graphic arts together. He was a big guy (to me) who always smiled and was kind in his approach. Too bad he had to go so young...
