Deceased Name:  Gayle S. Hecker of Elgin   The family of Gayle S. Hecker, 54, will meet for funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Plato, 43W301 Plank Road in Hampshire. The Rev. Gerhard Mau, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the North Plato Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Tuesday, at the church. Born April 4, 1951, in Elgin, the daughter of Herman E. and Jean A. (nee Schroeder) Becker, she died Friday, June 17, 2005, at home. She was a lifelong resident of the Dundee area and was a 1969 graduate of Dundee Community High School. Gayle was and employee of the First American Bank of West Dundee for more than 20 years, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Plato and a former many year member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of East Dundee. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Stan, whom she married on Feb. 24, 1973, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee; daughter Wendy and son, Glenn, both of Elgin; mother, Jean A. Becker of East Dundee; mother-in-law, Florence Hecker of Elgin; sisters, Beth (Tom) Stanek of Sanger, Texas, and Beverly (John) Soutar and Connie (Jim) Miller, both of East Dundee; brother, James Becker of East Dundee; brothers-in-law, Dennis and Fred Hecker, both of Elgin;and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman E. Becker on March 29, 2004. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church of North Plato.
