Buckardt, Colin E

Colin Eric Buckardt  Age 53, Noblesville, formerly of Elgin, IL., died September 24, 2004 in Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.  He was born October 22, 1950, in Elgin, Illinois to John and Phyllis (Broomham) Buckardt.  Colin married Nelda Jean Gardiner on November 24, 1989, in First Presbyterian Church, Noblesville.  Mr. Buckardt was the Merchandise Movement Manager for Kittle's Distribution Center in Fishers.  He also served in the Air Force from 1970 to 1973 during Vietnam, receiving an honorable discharge with the rank of Sergeant.  He was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church .  Survivors include his wife, Nelda (Gardiner) Buckardt, Noblesville; daughter, Stephanie Buckardt and fiance David M. Sloman, St. Charles, Illinois; sons, Brandon J. Buckardt, South Elgin, Illinois, John M. Quakenbush, Noblesville, and Matthew J. (Kristin S.) Quakenbush, Noblesville; grandaughter, Hailey L. Quakenbush, Noblesville; brother, Russell J. (Pamela) Buckardt, South Elgin, IL.  Sevices will be held Monday, September 27, 2004 at 11 a.m. In Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Road, Indianapolis with Reverends Glen Bell and Vern Farnum officiating.  Calling will be from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2004 in Wagner and Hughes Family Mortuary, Noblesville.  A memorial service will be held in Elgin, Illinois at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church.  Online condolences may be posted at wagnerand hughes.com.
