
HAMPSHIRE - Audrey L. Heinrich, 67, formerly of Pingree Grove passed away Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 at Citadel Care Center in Elgin. She was born Aug. 11, 1950 in Elmhurst, the daughter of Wilbert and Elda (Dunteman) Heinrich. Audrey was a 1969 graduate of Dundee High School and was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Elgin. She loved to dine at Paul's restaurant in Elgin and she dearly missed her beloved cat, Tiger. Surviving are her brother, Dan (Anne) Heinrich of Hampshire; nephews and nieces, Christopher (Cindy) Heinrich of DeKalb, Michael (Heather) Heinrich of Sycamore, Stacey (Matt) Gluchman of Hampshire; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and an uncle, Ed (Bea) Dunteman of Sugar Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents; and many aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 14, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 40W720 Plank Rd., Elgin with Rev. Jill Terpstra officiating. Burial will follow in Washington-McQueen Cemetery in rural Elgin. Visitation will be prior to services on Wednesday from 10 to 11am. Memorials in her name may be directed to St. Paul's U.C.C. or Easter Seals. The Fredrick Funeral Home in Hampshire is assisting the family. Info, 847-683-2711.
