Marlene Stephen (Sonnenberg)

I received sad news that Marlene Stephan Sonnenberg passed away on April 2, 2024 at aged 72. She was living in San Tan Valley, Arizona. She founded a charity 20 years ago called Angel Acres Inc., whose mission was to "Provide children with fun and exercise therapy on horses. Give disadvantaged children advantages & children with disabilities, abilities."

The following was taken from the Facebook page Angel Acres, Inc.:

Hello everyone,

It is with much sorrow, that I have to tell you that Marty has passed away on April 2nd. After battling health issues for the last few years, it became more than she could overcome despite her giving her all as she always had.

We will be having a Celebration of Life for her at her home the Angel Acres Ranch at 10:00 am on Saturday May 4th.

Please share this with any others that may want to come and celebrate a life well lived. We are not asking you to RSVP but if you think you may attend, please let me know so we can try to have enough seating and food for everyone. There are so many lives that she touched, we are expecting a large turnout. Nothing less than she deserves.

At the time of the Celebration, we will have information as to where donations can be made in her memory in lieu of flowers.

In Loving Memory of Marty,

Kathy Wilson
