After college at the University of Dubuque, became the catering manager for a Dubuque hotel after children started school, and remained in that position for 20 years. Now working part time at the city library for the past 9 years. 2 children, Kathryn and Kenneth, now 40 and 38. Ken has two daughters, 13 and 14 years old; Kathy has twin boys just turning 1. Both Kathy and Ken are remarried after divorces. Kathy lives in Madison, Ken in Arlington Heights.
