Gary Allen Pedley, age 68, of Mayfield, Kentucky, and a native of the Dundee, Illinois areas passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in Graves County, KY. Gary was born on May 21, 1953. He was a 1971 graduate of Dundee Community High School, and a baptized and confirmed member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee. He was a retired assistant football coach at Graves County High School. He had a passion for his family’s history. Gary is survived by his wife, Paula Ward Pedley; his mother, Dorothy Schuring Pedley; his two brothers, Larry Pedley of Dundee, IL and Danny "Fred" (Kathy) Pedley of Lake Forest, CA; his two sisters, Sandra Keller of Hanover Park, IL and Jill (Mike) Falese of Elgin, IL; and seven nieces and nephews, Angela Falese, Michael Joseph Falese, Nick LaCommare, Jeffrey Keller, Corey Keller, Michelle Keller, and Daniel Keller. Other survivors include his aunts, uncle, and several cousins, and countless good and faithful friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Walter C. Pedley. Gary was cremated. A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. A Memorial Service will be held in Dundee at a later date.
