Dave Azzaline, 60, of Elkhorn passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2011. Our beloved "April Fool" was born on April 1,1951 to the late Marion "Buck" and Emma Azzaline and raised in Fox River Grove, Ill.

After graduating high school, he attended the University of Kansas. He was the president of Bergamot Brass Works in Delavan until 1996 when he founded his own manufacturing business in Elkhorn.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed nature immensely. He was known to be kind-hearted and loved his pets, including his two dogs and many other pets over the years.

He was a caring family man and friend to many. His family will remember him for his fast cars and passion for music. He enjoyed many years of coaching youth soccer and community involvement, including being the caregiver to Connie York and Heather Helman, along with his wife Carolyn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Carolyn Azzaline and beloved daughter Morgan (Rodney) Fowler of Florida; Two step-children Kirk and Nicole McKenna of Hawaii; brothers Paul (Molly), Phil (Linda) of Illinois, in addition to numerous much-loved nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

He was further preceded in death by one nephew.

Private family services were held. Church and Chapel of New Berlin assisted the family.

Thank you to the many family and friends for all your support during this difficult time. "Let it Be."
