2010 marks the 10 year anniversary of our High School graduation! Traditionally, class reunions are planned to coordinate with the high school's current year Homecoming game. October 8, 2010 is that date.

Unfortunately, our 10 year reunion planning did not go as most of us had hoped it would! There has been several communication forums utilized to attempt to get a reunion organized, but those plans never got off the ground. With the traditional Homecoming date quickly approaching, desperate measures have been launched in an attempt to salvage tradition.

Concerns have already risen regarding these last minute reunion plans not being communicated to classmates in sufficient time for everyone make necessary arrangements to attend. Please understand that the planning you are now reading about, is a "last ditch effort" to get a reunion "off the ground!" We are going to continue with the October 8, 2010 reunion celebration but would also like every classmate's opinion on coordinating a 'formal dinner reunion' for April, 2011! Please see the user forum for more information!

'October' 10 Year Reunion

So here is the plan:

5:30 PM - The patio area at Dell's has been reserved! Come one, come all...literally!! Bring your husband/wife and the kiddos and let's begin looking back over the last 10 years! Everyone will be responsible for their own tabs, food and beverages. If you have any High School memorabilia, please bring it with you! Good reunion laughs stem from old pictures and yearbook signings!

7:00 PM - If you haven't been to Cougar stadium since graduation, here's your chance! Homecoming game 2010! LET'S GO COUGARS!!! Help cheer on our Cougars as they take on Westwood High! HERE IS THE CATCH!!! No football game is complete without proper "spirit shirts!" That's right guys and gals, it's time to dig out those rags that once were stylish CGUHS gear or test your design skills by creating a new spirit shirt! If you're creating a new one, lets make this fun; put your last name on the back and represent our class loud and proud with a '00' underneath! (Jersey style!) (And if your kiddos want to sport '00' gear to the game as well...the more the merrier!)

9:00 PM - As we depart what will be a Cougar football victory, let's keep the party going! The Gym Sports Bar & Grill has generously offered to accommodate our class by reserving seating for us! They've also promised to have a DJ that will play a variety of tunes for us to shake our groove thing to! Again, everyone will be responsible for their own tabs, and the kitchen will be open if you are not able to stop by Dell's for a bit to eat before the game! Please make necessary arrangements for the little ones as this will obviously be an adult gathering.

With reunion planning, it is extremely difficult to make 1 plan that will suit all of our 300 classmates perfectly! It is understood that not all of our classmates will be able to attend on such short notice. Please do not take it personal but rather a good faith attempt for a class reunion. ~THANK YOU!~
