Funeral services for Barry Lyle Cox, 37, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Bustard's Funeral Home by Rev. Tim Ricker of Frontier Baptist Church in Douglas. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
He died July 26, 2007, at his home in Casper.
He was born Aug. 1, 1969, in Casper, the son of Howard E. and Dorothy (Durbin) Cox.
He attended St. Anthony's School, CY Junior High, NCHS and Casper College.
He had been self-employed in the drywall business and was working for a drilling company at the time of his death.
On Oct. 10, 2006, he married Stephanie Syverson in Casper.
He enjoyed playing his drums, riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, camping and music.
Survivors include his wife, stepson, Kyler; daughter, Sunni Johnson; parents, two brothers, Steve Cox and Marty Cox and his wife, all of Casper; a sister, Melanie Shepperson and her husband of Bar Nunn and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, Frank and Marie Cox and Lowell and Anna Durbin.
