Vance Virgilio VIEW PROFILE

Vance Virgilio, 50, passed away on November 4, 2019 at Shepherd of the Valley hospice care in Paradise Valley, Wy. He was born on April 20, 1969 in Laramie, Wy to Joseph Virgilio and Myrna (Hopkins) Virgilio. He grew up in Casper, the youngest of 4 brothers and in 1987 was the first in his family to graduate from high school. He continued to WyoTech and graduated with a degree in auto body tech.
In his teens, Vance was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which posed a number of challenges in his life, but also lent him many friends and opportunities. Vance met the challenges that diabetes doled out with grace and grit and taught those around him to love life and appreciate their blessings. Despite the challenges and obstacles posed by his health issues, Vance continued to be hopeful and kind to those that supported him.
 
Vance was preceded in death by his father, brother Vaughn, mother, and other family members and friends. He is survived by his brothers, Vincent and family; Vernon and family, Chuck and Jackie Morris and children and various other uncles, aunts and friends. He is also survived by his many wonderful caregivers at Shepherd of the Valley.
