
Kelley Gene Williamson, age 57, of Cassville, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Texas.
He was born August 30, 1959 in Monett, MO, the son of Ronald Gene “Tex” & Norma Lea {Dilbeck} Williamson.
Surviving are his mother, Norma Williamson of Cassville; one daughter, Sheena Bittle and her husband Tim of Wheaton, MO; one sister, Rhonda Craig and her husband David of Cassville, MO; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jozy; nieces and nephews Tyler Craig, Kendal Rose and her husband Trey and Clay Craig and his wife Whitney all of Cassville, MO; great nephew, Corbin Rose; a special person, Carol Sneed-Jalbert and her children, Misty Kirk of Tahlequah, OK, Rene and Destiny Jalbert of Exeter, MO, Roger Jalbert of Tulsa, OK and Gage and Rikki Jalbert of Santa Clarita, CA.
Kelley grew up and received his education in Cassville where he graduated from high school. In 1980 he purchased Williamson Jewelry Store and also owned Diamond W Carwash and Convenience Store and he loved being a storm chaser for The Weather Channel. He had been a rodeo clown for ACRA. He was an avid bass fisherman, and was a FLW Bassmaster, a USTRC Team Roper and he loved to drive his racecar at Monett. He enjoyed metal detecting for Civil War artifacts. Kelley had his pilot license for light air craft and his radar license. He also raised chickens and cattle, baled hay for many farmers and he loved to hunt.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 3, 2017 in Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Wahlert conducted the services. Burial in Sparks Cemetery at Butterfield.
