Cheryl Smith, 39, Cassville, died Saturday, November 13, 1999 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mrs. Smith was born August 2, 1960, in Monett, the daughter of Lonnie and WillaBee Yarnall of Cassville. She was a 1978 graduate of Cassville High School and attended Draughn Business College in Springfield. She attended Floral Design School in Denver, Colorado, before entering the business with Lonnie's Florist, which she eventually purchased with her husband. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Tau Eta Chapter, Cassville Women's Golf League, Cassville PTA, and the First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married Vaughn Smith on June 1, 1991, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and he survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Dustin Thompson, Colby Thompson, and Christopher Smith, all of the home; her parents of Cassville; one brother, Randy Yarnall of Cassville; and three sisters, Debbie Miller of Golden, Kay Haworth of Purdy, and Brenda Wells of Birmingham, Alabama. Services were November 16, at the First Baptist Church in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.
