Jeffrey Allen Horner

Jeffrey Allen Horner, age 50, of Cassville, MO, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

He was born September 13, 1967 in Springfield, the son of Jack & Helga {Schneider} Horner. On December 27, 1986 he was united in marriage to Nancy Burnette who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Samantha Cosper and her husband Drew of Cassville; his step-mother, Linda Horner of Cassville; one brother, Max Horner of Berryville, AR; two sisters, Christine Horner and Melody Webb both of Cassville and one grandson, Ryker Cosper.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents and a brother, Kevin Horner.

Jeffrey graduated from Cassville High School in 1985 and then completed automotive technician school in Springfield. For several years he worked with Darrell Terry. He then worked at Merriman Motors, Carroll County Chrysler, Priority One, and Berryville Ford all in Berryville, Arkansas. In November 2015, he opened his own business, C & H Auto Repair in Butterfield.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Early in his life he realized his passion for automobiles and knew that he wanted to be a mechanic. He was able to fulfill his dream of owning his own shop. Hard work, honesty, and helping others were values that he prided himself on. He was a man who friends and family could depend on for strength and help in a time of need.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Fohn Funeral Home. Revered Brian Timmons conducted the services.
