I've seen every episode of Spongebob Squarepants. Twice. We have so much High School Musical stuff in our house I think we might actually live on the set of the movie. I may challenge Abramovitz for the title of "Worst Cassville Karaoke Singer". I may win. Was in a national TV commercial. No, it was not a Muppet Reunion commercial. Was once tear gassed by the police. I know a restaurant that serves great Viking food. Ah, the stories we will share!
Ok, time for the rest of the story (sorry Paul Harvey). Worked for MCI after school. Moved with work to Memphis and then Sacramento. Left just before WorldCom bought MCI (is that lucky or what?) and took a couple of years off. Got married during that time and went back to school for a year. I missed work so much, I decided to do more of it and ran a call center in Springfield for a year.
Got an offer to work for a company in Topeka, KS and moved there. Got promoted and moved to West Virginia. No, really, it was actually pretty sweet. We lived about one hour south of Pittsburgh, and it reminded me a lot of Shell Knob, just with more coal miners.
The two best days of my life happened in WV, when my daughters were born. Trinity was born in 2001, and Eden in 2002. They are less than a year apart. In WV, it's referred to as "Hillbilly Twins". Soon after, received an offer from a firm in Omaha. We moved to Omaha in 2003, and I worked for them in the US and the Middle East.
People at home always ask me about Omaha, so here you go: Omaha is rather like Springfield, only four times the size and much better.
In March 2006, I quit smoking and took up running. I’ve lost 50 pounds since then.
In 2007, after working as a consultant, I received an offer to join TPG, which is where I currently work.
Today, I had a ham sandwich for lunch. I’m making fish sticks, yogurt, carrots and fries for dinner for the kids. You are now caught up!
