I learnt from Martha V this morning that Mr Filemon Cawayan passed away. I have then scoured the internet to find any information and found this one in the University of San Carlos-South Grade School Batch 1996 (https://www.facebook.com/uscsgs96):
June 2, 2015:
“Rest in Peace Mr. Filemon Cawayan
To my USC - South Grade School batch mates and schoolmates, the viewing at St. Peter, Imus will be until tomorrow (Monday) only and then it will be moved to Sir Cawayan's residence in Minglanilla. Internment will be on Thursday, June 4.”
Rest In Peace, Sir Cawayan.

My beloved favorite math teacher in 3rd grade. I remember how I learned to love multiplication from him. Forever the memory will remain in my heart, Mr. Cawayan. I salute you, Sir.
