Thanks to Celma for letting me know about this site. This is indeed a great venue to re-acquaint with everyone.

Thanks Joan for such a great initiative. I've been wishing that someone could create a group site for our batch - and you did!!!

Racquel, your entries in the message forum show that you're still the lively person that I used to know. I wonder if you can still remember me.

Quintina, the last time I saw you was when I attended an envi. forum in 2001 in Cebu - I was working as Lexmark's Envi. Manager then.

One thing more, I signed that I will attend the 30-year reunion even if I don't have the details yet. Can anyone please let me know when and where will this be? I plan to visit the Phils on March 2009 with my family and I am hoping that a reunion will be organized during the university graduation ceremony. Will there be alumni appreciation during this event?

Yes I have gained much but slim kuno gihapon at 103 lbs - thanks to the busy life in Canada. I was 85 lbs when I graduated from college then nag 95 lbs before I got married at age 29 unya na 110 lbs after panganak. You still look cute after all the years. Hope to see you soon.

Hi Batchmates, We celebrated our Christmas Party last December 27, 2008 at the ACT building. It started with a holy mass that was officiated by our dear batchmate, Fr. Buhay. After a fun-filled celebration, the group held a meeting to discuss initial plans for the forthcoming 30th year reunion. It was agreed that our forthcoming reunion will be held on July 11, 2009 at the USJ-R old campus. This early announcement is for the benefit of everyone especially those based abroad who plan to come home for the celebration. We were about 30 batchmates who attended the Christmas party and we agreed to elect the new set of officers, as follows:

I'm glad that everyone had a great time at the Xmas party. I wish I was there.

Thanks for the update regarding our Reunion. I am a bit shocked by the total amount posted as P132,500. Is there a registration fee per person or family, spouse and children invited? You are not trying to fund the entire cost of the reunion solely by contribution only, are you? My suggestion is set a registration fee for the event like you did during the Xmas party then, set a goal of raising money through sponsors, donations or contribution in the amount of P30,000 for the multi-media equipment. Excess amount collected over P30,000 shall go towards the general fund for the reunion. Registration fee shall then be reduced accordingly depending on the surplus amount collected. Encourage a collective effort to raise money in excess of P30,000 in order to reduce or better yet waive the registration fee all together.

Another suggestion, if you have not thought of it already is to start sending out invitation/donation cards to our batch mates abroad. $20 each can go a long way towards meeting our goal of P30,000. I am sure that some will give more. I will try to make it to our reunion but not exactly sure how this would work with our children school's schedule. Besides, we are also booking our tickets for our cruise to the Bahamas scheduled December of 2009. Tickets needs to be reserved at least six months in advance.

Last christmas party is a good example you charge it per person. Hi Raquel,

I will send the money through Western Union like I did for Melds last Xmas and you can deposit it to our class bank account. My contribution for our reunion funds will be same as last Xmas in the amount of $150. I will send you, Raymund and Melds email 3 days before I will wire the money in order to give you a heads up that the money is on its way. It is important that you claim the money ASAP. Not really sure if the rate is based on the day I send the money or the day you claim it. Check your messages the week of February 23rd coz' that will be the week that I will wire the money. I may be able to add more if I can't make it to P.I. by then. I will cc Raymund and Melds with this email as well.

That is the least that I can do for our group. I wish I can do more....a little more.... so we can roundup as many of our batchmates to join us in one of the most memorable event of our lives. My family and I were blessed in so many ways and I am happy to be able to share it to others by any means. I hope that the blessings that we received all these years will not expire any time soon. Remember that big surprises comes in small packages. I hope that my contribution will help pay for some expenses for the event.

It's not the amount that counts, it's the thought that comes with it.......

I miss you All. Hope to see you all in July.
