Lesa Paul, 48, of 2275 C St. SW, Cedar Rapids, died peacefully of natural causes surrounded by her family on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with a visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Donnita Payne Hostetler of Compassus Hospice will officiate.

Lesa was born on July 25, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Bob and Judy Paul. She was a wonderful mother and wholeheartedly devoted to her girls, MacHaley and Mariah.

Survivors include her daughters, MacHaley and Mariah and their father, Dennis Ward, of Cedar Rapids; her parents, Bob and Judy Paul of Cedar Rapids; brother, Robert Paul of Cedar Rapids; sister, Lindy (Jon) Peterson of Montezuma; sister, Kathy (Matt) Dronebarger of Cedar Rapids; brother, Brian Paul of Westminster, Calif.; brother, Justin (Michelle) Paul of Cedar Rapids; and grandparents, Dorothy (Joel) Emery of Yucaipa, Calif.

Lesa is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy; nephew, Nathan; niece, Destiny; aunt, Pat; and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Lesa Paul Memorial Fund.
