
Leiding, Scott Alan Scott, age 49 of Carrollton, TX went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. Scott courageously fought the battle of brain cancer over the last year. He was born on June 15, 1962 in Watseka, IL. He was a graduate of Washington HS in Cedar Rapids, IA and was an avid football player. He graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, IA in 1985 with a BS in Industrial Engineering. During this time he was an active member of Delta Tau Delta. He received his Masters Degree in Business from the University of Dallas. Scott worked for several consulting firms as an SAP consultant before starting his own company, The Leiding Group LLC. Scott was a loving son, father, brother, husband and loyal friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joy Mason Leiding; daughter Leah (17) and son Sam (15), his mother Margo Reynolds (Ron); father Steve Leiding (Marie); sister Kelly Schladenhauffen (Tim), and nephew Dalton; and extended family that he loved very much. Scott loved his church, Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. He also loved spending time grilling out, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 25th, from 5-7p.m. @ North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, TX 75234. Memorial service for Scott will be on Wednesday, Oct. 26th, at 3 pm at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Parkway, Carrollton, TX, 75007.
