Brenda L. Happel, 43, of 251 35th St. Dr. SE, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, following a long illness.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2005 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: One hour before services at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include two children, Candace (Eric) Watson and Justin Happel both of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Kylie Jo Watson; her parents, George & Sharon Kirby of Cedar Rapids; brother, Rick (Sandy) Kirby of McGregor; sister, Cindy (Kevin) McFeely of Bellevue, WA; her grandfather, Ralph Pirc of Marquette; two nieces, Felecia Kirby & Jordan McFeely; and three nephews, Nick Kirby, Bryce McFeely & Cole Halverson.
Brenda was born September 15, 1962 in McGregor, the daughter of George and Sharon (Pirc) Kirby. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who will be missed dearly.
