David was a sweet guy. He loved to joke around. I remember hanging out with him and Marlene , Linda and Debbie. Good memories. R.I.P. my friend...Irving Gordon
I was friends with David in HS...anyone know when and why he passed? He was a great fun guy and I know will be missed! Feeling sad ~ Alisa Yudin Sherman
Dave lived across the street from me on Bayview Ave in Cedarhurst. I remember many times just hanging out with Dave at his house after school. He was funny and also a gentle person. If anyone asked me what stood out the most with any friend, for Dave, it would have been the times he explained to me certain Jewish traditions and practices and why they were done. Myself being a Catholic at that time, I found it interesting to learn of other faiths.
Dave was a good friend for many years. He moved to Florida after graduation and took a job with the Post Office. He was determined to do his 20 years, get the Fed pension and a hot sportscar to drive around in and cruise from his forties on out. Dave died of a heart attack. Whether it was on his route or not, I don't know.
