Philip Bryant Lloyd, passed away December 23, 2008.
He was born August 1, 1962, and was the son of Barbara Thomason and Thomas Philip Lloyd, Jr.
Philip became interested in the home improvement business and created his own company, Exteriors of N.C. His business reputation was based on integrity, quality work and customer satisfaction.
Phil's outgoing personality and beautiful smile resulted in the accumulation of many good friends. Phil will be deeply missed by all who knew him and his legacy will inspire us all to live life to its fullest.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kelli, and his brother Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Misty Fisher Lloyd, two sons Cody 11 and J.R. 4, his mother and stepfather Barbara and Johnny Thomason, his father Thomas P. Lloyd Jr. he is also survived by stepsisters Susan Bradshaw and Beth Fowler, stepbrother Johnny Thomason Jr., and his grandmother Beulah Hackney.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Phil Lloyd Educational Fund that will benefit his children. Memorial gifts may be sent to Misty Lloyd at 4800 Yadkin Drive, Raleigh, N.C. 27609.
A brief graveside service will be held on Monday December 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery followed by a memorial service at University Methodist Church at 150 Franklin Street in Chapel Hill at 2:00 p.m.
The family will receive visitors immediately following the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Mark Wartman, Johnny Thomason Jr., Tom Counts, Russell Ammons, Willis Underwood HI, Matt Fisher, Kenneth Hackney, Gary Kearns.
