Lyle Tibbitts, 58, died at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City on February 11, 2002. Lyle Dean Tibbitts was born January 26, 1944, the son on Burr and Ina (Ferch) Tibbitts. Lyle married Gloria Kepple and they later divorced. Lyle worked for many years at White Farm Equipment, as a salesperson with Diversified Fastening Systems, Chuck Fletcher Ford, John's Auto Sales, and then was proprietor of "Gene's Place" for seven years. He enjoyed auto racing, hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling.
Living family membes include three sons, Dennis, Scott, and Steven, and a daughter Kelly (Brian) Koch, two grandchildren, his mother, Ina Tibbitts, and two brothers, Kale and Garry. His father preceded him in death.

I also heard his brother Kale had came back to Charles City a few years ago and has since passed away also.
