Seeing Carol's name took my breath away. She and I were in kindergarten class at Lincoln School. Because she was from "the country", Carol was at school all day. I drifted in for the afternoon session. When I was asked to take a note to Principal Ethel Anderson's office I hadn't the faintest idea where to go. Carol took me right up to Miss Anderson's office, all the way the double staircase to the second floor. Now, not only is the building gone, but also Carol. I think as adults we remember the terrific care she provided our classmate and her husband, Larry Hereid. Blessings to your family!
