Sad news but great memories.  My first girlfriend.  I lived on Farnsworth Drive, Penny on Huron Terrace.  Both of our Dads rode to the Dupont plant every day together.  Penny and her brother, Butch, and I became good friends.  Can't remember exactly when, but my mother drove Penny and I on our first date to the Virginia Theater to see Goodbye Mr. Roberts and afterwards we walked across the street to the Blossom Dairy  (I think it was called) for ice cream.  WOW, so long ago!  Probably around 1957.  We both were in the band  at CHS (me, drum major), Penny( Majorette) and remained friends throughout our CHS years.  What great memories I have of Penny.  A Blessing to have knownPennyr and called her my friend.
