Yanez Rogers

Yanez M. Rogers 22, Winegard Road, Orlando, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001. Mr. Rogers was an electrician. Born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, he moved to Central Florida 1998. He was Roman Catholic. Survivors: mother, Jane, Tampa; son, Yanez Jr., Fort Lauderdale; daughters, Char-Dhawnee Valerie Nicole, Tallahassee; brothers, Ellis Robelto, Dennis Lewis, Jocelyn C., all of St. Thomas, Joseph Oyen, Atlanta, Lucian Siless, Kissimmee; sister, Yvonne Sirena Murray, Tampa, Lisa Silena Gumbs, St. Thomas; paternal grandmother, Juliet Rogers, St. Thomas. Dobbs Funeral Home, West Orlando Chapel.

 Cause of Death

A Kissimmee man died Sunday from injuries suffered early Saturday in an accident south of Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Yanez S. Rogers, 22, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center, troopers said. Rogers was in a three-car crash on Oak Ridge Road, just west of Rio Grande Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Four other people were injured, two of them seriously. Another car crossed the center line and collided with Rogers' car, troopers said. The wreck is under investigation.
